What a lovely idea with a silly execution. Brilliant!

To clarify the solution code (harder than the puzzle): Refer to r5c5 digit and enter the numbers belonging to that region. Start at the top row of this region and enter the numbers left to right, then the 2nd row left to right, then so on and so forth.

very cool! And the solve path rhymes beautifully with the literary reference (and the chemistry reference :) )

For the solution code write each number left to right on each line top to bottom, within the selected region!

Figured it out. You read from the top most digit, left to right.

Solved! But absolutely no idea what the solutuion code is supposed to be. I've tried a dozen different combination and they're all wrong. What gives?

A really nice puzzle that seems impossible at first then all falls into place.

I don't know if this qualifies as a puzzle, but it's cute!

Same comment as wuc. Actually entering the solution code gave me more trouble than solving the puzzle
