To me 2* too. Looks easy but requires a ton of work until the break in. Nothing for hunters of easy puzzles. A great 2* puzzle thx.

requires the propagation of candidate pairs around the grid (a form of colouring). not really a basic technique, so level is better given as (easy) 2

Very nice, sometimes 1 star puzzles are boring because they are too easy, this is not one of those puzzles. Thanks for sharing.
