Twelve platforms (cages) are arranged around the playground (grid). You have twelve planks (each 3 cells in length) to link the platforms together into a single loop.

Place each plank (draw straight lines) such that one end is on one platform and the other end on another platform. Every cage cell contains the end of a plank. Six of the planks are GREEN and six are BLUE. The position and color of each plank (line) is to be determined by the solver.

Normal sudoku rules apply.

Digits in cages sum to the total shown.

Along GREEN lines, adjacent digits differ by at least 5.

Box borders divide the BLUE lines into segments with the same sum. Every blue line has at least two segments.

My first ever loop puzzle. Loved how that solved. Thanks!

I was also stuck until I saw the comments mentioning that diagonal lines were required. With that realisation, it was an easy but enjoyable solve. Lots of potential here for future puzzles. Many thanks!

Lovely idea and a great puzzle.

I had the same issue with the rules as pjot. But understanding the loop and allowing both orthogonal and diagonal planks, it feels like an easy two-stars.

Thank you! Very enjoyable and unique puzzle.

I loved this, but it took way too long to break in for two reasons:
- I didn't realize that planks could be diagonal
- I missed the line that said all platform cells has a plank end

Once I knew that it flowed very nicely with some great interaction between the line colors

I think it took me more time to work out how the rules worked than actually solving the puzzle! Need more coffee.

Very enjoyable idea, and loved having to first think about the lines in multiple ways before really getting to a useful breakin.

Really fun puzzle! I would love to see another puzzle like this using other lines (Dutch Whispers, Renban, etc.), there is a ton of potential here.
