German Squishmates
(Published yesterday, 13:38 by Ratfinkz)
Hi there, thanks for checking out my latest puzzle!
This was inspired by Scojo's Setting Saturday prompt. The aim of the prompt was to create a squishdoku puzzle using Dutch Flat Mate. I added a bit of German Whisper and came up with this
Thank you to several people for the test solves!
Constraints used
- Normal squishdoku rules apply. (Place the digits 1-9 once each into every box so that numbers do not repeat in any box row or column)
- Dutch Flat Mates: Every 5 in the puzzle must have a 1 directly above it or a 9 directly below. It may have both but it doesn't need both.
- German Whispers: Adjacent digits along a green line must have a difference of at least 5
