Nurikabe Puzzle Pack
0 : Nurikabe Mini
Normal 6x6 sudoku rules apply.
Divide the grid into a number of islands -- orthogonally connected groups of cells. Every island contains a single circled cell; the digit in the circle indicates the number of cells making up the island.
The islands are surrounded by a waterway -- a single orthogonally connected group of cells. All caged cells are waterway cells; the digit in a caged cell indicates how many waterway cells are seen orthogonally from that position, including itself (island cells block vision). The waterway cannot form any 2x2 areas.

Took me quite a while because this was my first nurikabe puzzle and I was missing very obvious deductions. Found this to be a very satisfying introduction to the puzzle-type, going to try the next puzzle in the pack now. Thanks!

A very easy puzzle, perfect to solve while you're waiting for a bus or during a short ride. Once you've figured out the waterways (and there are not many options), the digits will fill in almost automatically because they are the only ones left in the row/column/box. A perfect and very enjoyable 1* puzzle if you like quick solves.
