Modular Birthday Bunting

My third creation, I think the best so far.

Rules:

A long long time ago, it was a beautiful year in which beautiful people were born. In '25 these people turned 52. And to celebrate two identical, tricolor bunting was hung of the ceiling. The two strings of colored flags were exactly the same, like in number and color when they were new so many years ago. Unfortanately after using it so many times, one of them had lost some flags. Can't remember if it was on one or both ends. But from the part that is left, you can still see they were completely identical...

Normal sudoku rules apply

All lines, bunting and party hats, are modular lines; on each line each set of 3 sequential digits contains one of {1,4,7}, one of {2,5,8} and one of {3,6,9}

The purple party hats are also renban lines; they each contain consecutive digits in any order

The birth year is given for those that drunk already a little too much, wine or so, and therefor find the math over the millenium a little too much of an effort. Others can use it to just solve the puzzle ;-)

Loved the broken bunting idea. Worked really well. Did have me stuck for hours for not seeing one simularity. But when I'd finally figured it out (with Quiriqui's help) the rest of the puzzle was "cooking with gas". Thanks for the lovely birthday present!

If you didn't read through the story: the 5-2 mod lines are somewhat identical, except the shorter one is missing 3 digits from one or both ends
