Rules: Statue Park variant
1. Shade some squares to form all 12 pentominoes (may be rotated/reflected).
2. No two pentominoes may share an edge.
3. Black circles must be covered by a pentomino while white circles cannot.
4. Unshaded cells must form one connected component.
5. Shade additional empty cells to connect the 7 snake pentominoes into an even longer snake. A “snake” is an orthogonally connected path of length at least 2. A snake may never touch itself, not even diagonally.
6. Along the long snake, there must be exactly 2 shaded cells between consecutive snake pentominoes. These newly shaded cells may touch the original pentominoes. White circles must remain unshaded.
7. After shading the long snake, the unshaded cells must remain connected.

This is one of 12 disjoint puzzles I made this year with varying styles/difficulties themed around snakes and 2025.
Enjoy!
