LINE ANARCHY

(Published on 21. December 2025, 06:02 by DarthSillious72)

I apologize in advance for this puzzle. Normal Sudoku rules apply. Digits separated by a chess knight's or king's move must be different. Blue lines are region sum lines. 3x3 box borders divide region sum lines into segments. Each of these segments sum to the same total, which must be deduced. This total may be different for different lines. Green lines are german whisper lines. Adjacent digits along german whisper lines must differ by at least 5. Grey lines are palindromes, and read the same forwards and backwards. Red lines are parity lines. Adjacent digits along parity lines must alternate between odd and even. Orange lines are entropic lines. Each set of three adjacent digits along an orange line must contain one low digit (1, 2, 3) one medium digit (4, 5, 6) and one high digit (7, 8, 9). Lines do not overlap, but they can cross. A LOT. No guessing is required. Good luck. https://sudokupad.app/pf1sbyfnp6

Hello author, I have recently completed all the puzzles you have published. The most eye-catching one for me is the limitation of the king and horse in chess. At first, this question made me feel a bit dizzy, but when I found the first breakthrough, the logic of the entire puzzle was very smooth. I give you a thumbs up!

Yes, not all line were used in solving. Different solvers will use different line in their solve path. Nevertheless, it is a nice puzzle.

Finding the break-in through all these lines was the trickiest bit (or maybe just remembering the anti-rules), after that it was smooth sailing. Thanks for sharing.

BTW: The puzzle link is missing from the „German“ text.

It took me a lot longer to finish this than it took you! The entropy line was mainly a 'why not' rather than something useful for the solve. I appreciate your feedback!

I rate this a 2* difficulty(explained in my hidden comment). You can remove the peach/orange entropy line as it is never used. Highly enjoyable and highly approachable
