Normal Sudoku Rules apply. Every row, column and marked region in the puzzle must contain the digits 1-9 exactly once.
Additional Rules:
Global Entropy: Divide the digits 1-9 into low(123), middle(456), and high(789) digits. Every 2x2 cell group in the puzzle must contain at least one digit of each group.
Kropki: White dots connect consecutive cells, black dots connect cells in a ratio of 1:2. Not all dots are given.
Cage Kropki:Kropki dots between two killer cages refer to the cage sums instead of the individual digit.
Killer: Digits in cages sum to the number in the corner of the cage (if given) and can't repeat within a cage.
Sandwich Sums:The number next to a row or column is the sum of all digits that are located between the digits 1 and 9 in that row or column.
Solution code: column 5

2 hours 13 minutes. I'd say 4 stars is probably right.

trying to solve this puzzle without the "invisible" rule, as i did, is like trying to give magnus pawn odds ... very hard, and ultimately unsuccessful.

It seems like the Kropki dots are completely ignored in the solution
In this case, the kropki dots only refer to the cage totals, not individual digits
