This is the sequel to my original puzzle "Consecutive Territories." I highly recommend checking out that puzzle before or after solving this one if you enjoy this style. Hope you enjoy!
Play the sudoku here:
Rules:
Sudoku rules apply: Fill the grid with digits 1–9, so that each digit appears exactly once in every row and column.
All cells except those in cages must be grouped into regions consisting of orthogonally connected cells. Each region contains exactly one circle. The number inside the circle gives the size of its region. No digit may repeat within any cage or any region. In addition, no two digits within the same cage or the same region may be consecutive. Allowed examples: {3,1,5}, {1}, {4,2,9,6}.
Dots and Symbols Between Cells:
White dot: The two digits are consecutive.
Blue dot: The two digits belong to different regions.
V: The two digits sum to 5.
Not all possible dots or symbols are given.
The arrow outside the grid gives the sum of the digits along the diagonal in the arrow’s direction.

Very smooth puzzle! Not the 5* as expected, but that might be because of my struggle with the prequel

Absolutely fantastic sequel! Not a slightest less interesting and intriguing of a riddle. As you’ve become familiar with the ruleset this one was apparently much less difficult and feels smooth, although still demanding proper grid investigation. The endspiel is stunning and absolutely gobsmacking, probably as best as it can get in a sudoku puzzle! Really, just unbelievable how this can resolve and how one can set this up other than by serendipity. Stellar construction, thank you another time, masetab!

Real kick in the pants at the end. I love the contrast to the previous puzzle where I wish some logic appeared but in pure monkey's paw fashion, you deliver it in this one.

Great puzzle, the breakin was satisfying and the logic for the rest flowed really well

Fantastic puzzle! Nice variation on the rules compared to the previous one. Extremely nice solve path with a nice sting in the end. I enjoyed this a lot and hope you have inspiration for more of this. Thank you
