Tricky Freezer

(Published on 23. November 2025, 10:45 by Wiggel)

I was experimenting with palindromes in small grids when I found this little marble.
During the creation process, I found more and more redundant clues and rules.
While removing those clues made the puzzle harder, I wouldn't say it's terribly difficult, just a bit tricky. Enjoy.

Rules:

Normal sudoku rules apply: Place the digits 1 to 5 once each in every row and column.
Palindromes: Digits along a dark grey line read the same in both directions.
Kropki dots: Digits separated by a white dot are consecutive. Not all dots are given.
Thermometers: Digits along a thermometer strictly increase from the bulb to the tip.

Solution code: Rows 1 and 5 (left to right)

Maybe I'm just tired, but this was a lot harder than a 1*. I had to restart multiple times because of errors
