RULES:

  • Normal Sudoku rules apply.
  • Every cell in the grid must belong to either a Galaxy or a hidden cage, never both.

  • Galaxies: A Galaxy is a group of orthogonally connected cells where each group contains a red diamond and is 180° rotationally symmetric around that diamond. Galaxies can touch each other but must not overlap. All Red diamonds are given.

  • Rotational Difference: Within a galaxy, cells rotated 180° from each other must differ in value by the digit (or digits) shown in their red diamond.

  • Hidden Cages: A cage is a group of orthogonally connected cells with no repeating digits. Cells containing a number in the top left corner indicate the total sum of the cage it belongs to. Not all cages have a given sum clue.

  • Cage sizes must be unique, e.g no two cages can contain the same number of cells.

  • Different cages can not share an orthogonal edge.
