Sudoku Variants Series (450) - Unique killer cages

(Published on 14. November 2025, 06:00 by Richard)

For this Sudoku Variants Project I have planned to publish a unique Sudoku variant every week.
I will see how long it takes before I am running out of ideas.

Unique killer cages
Apply classic sudoku rules.
Digits in cages must not be repeated and sum to the cage total in the top left corner. No two cages of the same size can contain exactly the same combination of digits.

Inspiration for this type comes from NurglesGift.

Solve online in Sudokupad or in Penpa+.

Had to use a decent combination of killer-based logic on this one. Not very difficult, but it was fun to hop between cages to mark off which combinations they could and couldn't hold.
