Irregular Sudoku/Chaos Construction: Divide the grid into nine orthogonally-connected regions. Each row, column and region must contain a complete set of the digits 1 to 9.
Renban Lines: Each thick pink line is a renban line (a set of consecutive non-repeating digits). Each renban is entirely within one region.
Modular Lines: Each thin teal line is a modular line (every set of three sequential digits along a line must contain a complete set of remainders modulo 3, i.e. one digit from {1,4,7}, one from {2,5,8}, and one from {3,6,9}. Digits on two-cell lines cannot have the same remainder.) No two consecutive cells on a modular line are in the same region.
Counters: All cells on lines count how many cells they see orthogonally within the same region, including themselves; other regions block line of sight.
Kropki Dots: White dots separate consecutive digits in different regions. Not all dots are necessarily given and there is no counting restriction for dots.
Solution code: Top row
