Normal sudoku rules apply. (place the digits 1-9 in every row, column and 3x3 box).

Red lines are region sum lines. Values along a line sum to the same amount within each box. This sum may be different for the two different lines.

Every row, column and box contains exactly one Time Warp cell. The value of a normal cell is equal to the digit in that cell. However, Time Warp cells instead have a value equal to the sum of the cell which is a jump to the left (not its adjacent cell the one beyond that) and the cell a step to the right (it’s adjacent cell). If a jump to the left or a step to the right takes you outside of the grid, the number to use for the sum is the skyscraper value for the row (i.e. the number of cells ‘seen’ looking into the grid along the row from that side where larger digits obscure the view of smaller ones).
For example, if a row contained the digits: 314987625, the value of each cell (if it were ‘doing the Time Warp’) would be: 4,7,12,9,11,15,10,12,11

Each Time Warp cell contains a different digit but they don’t necessarily all have different values.

After placing a Time Warp cell you should bring your knees in tight and do the pelvic thrust (it’ll really drive you insa-a-a-a-a-ane).

Solution code: Value of the Time Warp cell in row 2
