In the bordered 5x5 grid, normal sudoku rules apply.
Renban lines (pink lines) contain a set of consecutive, non repeating digits, which can appear in any order (for example, the digits on a line could be 234 or 324 but not 152).
The two digits outside the 5x5 grid indicate how many numbers are seen in their row/column from that location. Larger digits hide smaller digits (for example, in the case of a row '12453', the number of digits seen from the left would be 4, while 2 would be seen from the right).
This is my first sudoku and I don't know how to do formatting (I don't want the grid lines to continue into past the 5x5 but I don't know how to do that).
If you have any advice on how I could do this please let me know.
Solution code: The central 3x3 of the 5x5 read from left to right, top to bottom.
