Hidden Mirrors

Hidden Mirrors by Burak Alver.

Rules:

Sudoku: Normal sudoku rules apply.

German whisper lines: Two cells connected by green German whisper lines must have a difference of at least 5.

Renban lines: Purple renban lines contain a set of consecutive digits in any order without repeats.

Kropki dots: Digits separated by white dots are consecutive. Digits separated by black dots have a 1:2 ratio. Not all dots are given.

Killer cages: The digits in the cages must sum to the number in the top-left corner if given, and cannot be repeated.

Odd/Even: The digits in the cells that contain the gray circles are odd. The digits in the cells that contain the gray squares are even.

Hidden Mirrors: There are 4 9-cell long mirrors hidden in the grid, each dividing it into 2 halves of equal size and shape. Mirrors are straight and can only intersect with each other at a single point; they cannot partially or entirely overlap. Digits cannot repeat along the mirrors. Each mirror acts on different types of clues, i.e, they generate reflections of the given clues according to the following rules:

1. Kropki Mirror: Reflections of white kropki dots are black kropki dots, and vice versa.

2. Odd/Even Mirror: Reflections of odd circles are even squares, and vice versa.

3. Line Mirror: Reflections of renban lines are German whisper lines, and vice versa.

4. Killer Mirror: Reflection of a 1-cell killer cage is a 1-cell killer cage with the same digit. Reflection of a 2-cell killer cage with the sum X is a 2-cell killer cage with the sum 20-X. Reflection of a 3-cell killer cage with the sum Y is a 3-cell killer cage with the sum 30-Y.

Clues cannot touch the mirror that generates their reflections.

Note: For avoidance of doubt, a given clue-reflection clue pair must be off the same (shortest) distance from the associated mirror, at opposite sides. For the clues with multiple segments, i.e., lines or cages, this must be true for all segments, separately.

Hi Burak,

I have been having a good time solving your puzzles, each one I've played has been nice and unique.

This looks like an interesting puzzle, however I'm having trouble making sense of the word "equal" in "There are 4 9-cell long mirrors hidden in the grid, each dividing it into 2 equal parts".

It cannot mean that we need the same number of cells on each side because that would necessarily lead to overlapping mirrors.

Does it mean that we must have the same number of clues on each side?

Thanks

P.S. I just realised that the mirrors can be diagonal, in fact the killer reflection rule forces a diagonal mirror.

I'm gonna assume that "equal" mean equal in number of cells and go ahead trying to solve it.

Thanks for the comment. You are right, that phrase is a bit confusing. What I meant was that each mirror splits the grid into two equal-sized halves. I will update the wording.
