Rules:
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Colour each cell either yellow or blue. All cells of the same colour must be orthogonally connected, and no 2x2 area may be all one colour.
A purple frame contains two cells of the same colour, and displays the total of the digits of that colour within that 3x3 box (reading left to right, or downwards.)
If two digits are joined by an X, they sum to 10.
If two digits are joined by a black dot, then one is double the other.
Solution code: Row 4 from left to right

Wow! What an amazing puzzle! It’s hard to imagine how you could ever imagine such an idea yet alone make it work! I did keep missing relatively obvious steps but nonetheless completed it in just over 80 minutes. Loved it! ❤️

Didn't seem super hard, but it still took a long time to solve. Slightly under 2 hours.

The absolute audacity of this man to mandate which two colours I use for my yin-yang shading... and yet - you bet I was obedient and used yellow and blue exactly as instructed.

I tried fruitlessly to solve this without actually understanding it. But once I gave myself the space to actually understand what was happening, the solve path was both elegant and straightforward. Lovely construction as always Marty!

Cool ruleset as always, and leading into a fun puzzle with a nice back-and-forth between shading, summing and sudoku.

Very nice puzzle with a newish Martyesque ruleset!
A fairly easy start, once you find out the properties of the purple frames. I got stuck in the middle for a while, but when I finally made some progress, the rest solved itself.
Now back to the Mirrors, these are still Mysterious to me.
