Fourensic N-tropist (with sujoyku)

(Published on 19. October 2025, 23:34 by Calvinball)

Yet again myself and sujoyku have teamed up, we pretty much agreed at each other that Entropy and Up to N could make a great pairing, and got right to work!

If you have any questions feel free to DM us on Discord.

Happy solving!

Rules:

  • Normal sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1-9 once in every row, column, and box.
  • Up to N-sums: A clue outside the Row or Column N indicates the sum of all digits up to the cell that contains the digit N. (The digit N itself is not included in the sum.)
  • Entropic Lines: Any three adjacent digits along a peach line must contain one low digit (1, 2, or 3), one medium digit (4, 5, or 6) and one high digit (7, 8, or 9).
Solve on Sudokupad.

Solution code: Row 4

I feel like I must've missed something, because this definitely felt harder than a 2*
Certainly fun, though! I wound up using the second set of sudokupad colors, since the grey line is... bad to look at.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Up-to-N sums are my favourite new constraint.
