There are five slow thermometers that move to adjacent cells by step either orthogonally or diagonally. The digits at each step must either increase or stay the same. The cages indicate the first cell of each thermometer and the number in the corner indicates how many cells are on that thermometer. Each cage contains the digit one. No cell may be used by a thermometer more than once and no cells are shared by thermometers.

Yeah, that additional clue would have helped… Without that 4 cage, the puzzle was quite hard (as it didn‘t go in the direction I was originally expecting). Thanks for sharing and refining your puzzles.
BTW: The ends of both the 6 and the 8 thermos remain ambiguous (with the same overall solution, though).

Hi Siebuhh. Thanks for doing the puzzle. Your solution as the rules stand is absolutely correct. Great solve. We forgot to include one of the rules which is that each cage contains a 1 Maybe you could see if you can modify your solution to accomodate this. Slow thermos are always a little vague compared to other constraints so its great to have this feedback and indeed we may have to revise this one completely. Many thanks. billybeth
