Super(im)position

(Published yesterday, 14:11 by gdc)

This puzzle is intended for solvers who know some basic music theory. It uses Schrödinger cells to represent "black keys". According to testers (thanks everyone!) it should be a fairly approachable (2 star). Hope you enjoy!

Normal schüberku rules apply: Place one or two of the letters A-G in every cell such that each letter appears exactly once per row, column and box.
Values: The value of a cell is the musical note corresponding to its letter. If two letters share a cell they must be 2 semitones apart and represent the note of the black key between them. E.g. if r1c1 contained both C and D, its value would be C# or Db.
Hear-And-Play Cages: Values in a cage don't repeat and form the indicated major chord in any order.

Can I Solve This Without Knowing Music Theory?

This puzzle is intended for solvers who know music theory already. But if you don't and really want to tackle it anyways, you can look up the chords here: Eb, Ab, D. "2 semitones apart" just means that the notes are next to each other on the piano with a black key between them.

Solution code: Column 4 top to bottom ignoring the cell with multiple letters (5 letters)
