This puzzle is intended for solvers who know some basic music theory. It uses Schrödinger cells to represent "black keys". According to testers (thanks everyone!) it should be a fairly approachable (2 star). Hope you enjoy!
This puzzle is intended for solvers who know music theory already. But if you don't and really want to tackle it anyways, you can look up the chords here: Eb, Ab, D. "2 semitones apart" just means that the notes are next to each other on the piano with a black key between them.
Solution code: Column 4 top to bottom ignoring the cell with multiple letters (5 letters)

This is very special, need time to get use to the rules, and need to dig back the long forgotten major chords.
Fun! Tq!

Fun little puzzle! A pretty approachable schrodinger sudoku, with a neat musical twist.
My pride did cost me a false start when I initially thought an Ab major was Ab-C-E and didn't care to double-check. Took a while to realize where my mistake was, too...

Good puzzle and interesting idea! "Hear-and-Play" is a very cute name for the cages.
