The Graveyard Of Emptiness

(Published on 10. October 2025, 20:02 by fjam)

The graveyard is back, but grave robbers appear to have raided some of the graves!

This is a follow up to my previous puzzles:
The Graveyard Of Ideas
The Graveyard Of Shadows
The Graveyard Of Schrödinger
The Graveyard Of Knapp Daneben
  • Normal Sudoku rules apply.
  • One cell in each row, column and region is a nullifier cell. Nullifier cells have a value of zero.
  • In graves (cages), values must sum to the day, month or year of the date on the grave. Digits cannot repeat within graves.
  • Escape the graveyard by carefully plotting an orthogonally connected path between the green and red cells. The path may not cross the highest or lowest values in a grave.

Took a while to find a break in. After that it kept rolling without ever really getting stuck, but also never got easy. Great job to have the difficulty feel this consistent.

it took me longer than i'd like to admit, but very fun and very satisfying logic! Thanks for setting!

Phew, that was a rather tight and engaging puzzle till the very end!
It didn't turn out to be that hard for me, but I did have to ask the right questions at a few points to proceed further. I particularly liked a few parts in the midsolve there :)

Very tricky and very satisfying to solve, with some very nice logical deductions arising from the geometry.
