Is this a particularly hard "ambiguous" puzzle? Not really - but I think it's a decent intro to some quirks of Dutch Whispers vs. German Whispers.
----
Rules:
- Normal Sudoku rules apply.
- 405 Lines - a gray line is either a Dutch Whisper (where neighboring digits differ by at least 4) or a German Whisper (where neighboring digits differ by at least 5). Lines that are solid are one Whisper type, and lines that are hollow are the other Whisper type - which is which will be determined by the solver.
- XV sums - digits separated by V sum to 5; digits separated by X sum to 10. No negative constraint.
- Ratio Kropki - digits separated by a black dot have a 2:1 ratio. No negative constraint.
Solution code: Row 9 digits, left to right

Ambiguity is hard thing to keep approachable, excellent setting.

I'm not the strongest sudoku solver by any means, so I was pleased to get the disambiguation really smoothly! Great puzzle :)

Excellent approachable puzzle. Yes the ambiguity is trivial with experience but appreciate this is a very nice intro as you say.
