Gone Fishing

(Published on 5. October 2025, 17:27 by Olive)

To get my family into solving more complex puzzles, I decided to finally set my own Sudoku puzzle. As they are not yet familiar with variants I thus decided to start by setting a standard Sudoku.

Rules:
Normal Sudoku rules apply (i.e. put the digits 1 to 9 into every row, column and box once each).

Puzzle:
Sudokupad

Solution code: Enter the final row left to right

@theParad0x
Thank you for solving and taking the time to write a nice comment :-)
I thought it would be rated 3/5 too, but I guess that's not the majority's opinion.

It's been a while since I've done a classic sudoku so that might be a factor but I thought this puzzle was harder than 2 stars. Well set and fun but I didn't feel like its an introductory level puzzle. Thanks for sharing.

I did this just because of curiosity if I could solve it. Variant sudokus are just 100 times more fun. One key look ahead in this puzzle. For a regular sudoku its fun though thx.
