Rules

  • Normal Sudoku rules apply.
  • Digits on a quad circle must appear in at least one of the four surrounding cells.
  • Digits along a red parity line alternate between odds and evens. This applies both to digits within Sudoku cells, as well as digits in quad circles. See the example below.
  • Cells separated by a white Kropki dot contain consecutive digits.
  • Adjacent digits along a green German Whispers line must differ by at least 5.
  • Digits along a pink Renban line form a set of non-repeating, consecutive digits in any order.

I got some very helpful feedback on my puzzle, Magnetic Field that the concept was enjoyable but the grid was difficult to look at and parse. I hope this puzzle succeeds at elevating the concept and providing a better viewing and solving experience. Please enjoy!

Parity Line Quad Example

In this example, the cell highlighted in blue is connected via a red parity line to a quad circle containing the digit 1. Because 1 is odd, and quad circles count as values along parity lines in this puzzle, the highlighted cell must be even.

Thanks very much for the feedback @brandon_bot! I've tweaked the language in the rules to hopefully make it clearer, and attached an example. Let me know if this helps!

I did not understand the parity rule instructions until after reading the comments on https://logic-masters.de/Raetselportal/Raetsel/zeigen.php?id=000PEE.

I think it would be most helpful to just attach a small example image showing a valid set of digits through a quad circle.
