Masyu Hexuro

(Published on 21. September 2025, 04:23 by Nell Gwyn)

  • Hexagonal Kakuro: Place a digit from 1 to 9 in every empty cell such that digits do not repeat in an unbroken "row" (along any of the three directions in which cells share edges) without any black hexagons separating them.
    • Numbers in a black hexagon indicate the sum of digits that clue sees in the indicated direction, up until either the next black hexagon or the edge of the grid.
  • Hexagonal Masyu: Draw a single closed, non-branching loop through the centers of some cells. The loop never visits the same cell more than once, and never enters black hexagons.
    • The loop must visit every circle. The color of the circle determines what the loop does:
    • On dark gray circles, the loop makes a sharp turn (60°), and goes straight through both of the adjoining cells.
    • On light gray circles, the loop makes a wide turn (120°), and goes straight through one of the adjoining cells, but makes a turn in the other (the turn may be either narrow or wide).
    • On white circles, the loop goes straight, and must make turns (either sharp or wide, or one of each) in both of the adjoining cells.
  • German Whisper: Adjacent digits along the Masyu loop must differ by at least 5.
