There was a Setting Saturday prompt to do a remix of our first puzzle, and doing something like that for "Slapdash" had been on my mind for a while anyway, so I took the opportunity.

There may seem to be some extra clues here, but you know me, I like my symmetry! Besides which, the diagonals, Kropkis and thermos are the same configuration as the original, just without the given digits.

---

Rules:

- Normal Sudoku rules apply, and each full diagonal also contains the digits 1 to 9.

- Thermometers - digits along a gray thermometer must increase in value from the bulb to the tip.

- Palindromes - the string of digits along a thin gray palindrome must read the same backwards and forwards.

- Kropki dots - digits separated by a white Kropki dot are consecutive; digits separated by a black Kropki dot have a 2:1 value ratio. No negative constraint.

- Dutch Whispers - neighboring digits on an orange Dutch Whisper line must differ in value by at least 4.

- Modular lines - any set of three adjacent digits on a teal modular line must come from each of the three following sets: [1,4,7], [2,5,8], and [3,6,9].

At least one teal line is definitely not needed. Nice though.

There's something so distinct about your puzzles. Loved it, you're the best at keeping a puzzle both approachable and interesting.

Very fun snack! The symmetry IS beautiful. Thank you for this!

Little decorative triangles :)
Seems perfectly solvable without the teal ones, but they are very pretty.

Read rules.
Can’t solve.
Read rules again.
Still can’t solve...
Read rules again...
Endless loop of frustration!!!
Read rules 20th time, modular lines misunderstood!
(1 OR 4 OR 7) AND (2 OR 5 OR 8) AND (3 OR 6 OR 9).
NOT
(1, 4, 7) OR (2, 5, 8) OR (3, 6, 9)!

should've re-read the rules thoroughly, confused between entropy ([1,2,3],[4,5,6],[7,8,9]) and modular ([1,4,7],[2,5,8],[3,6,9]) haha

Nice puzzle! I found I was able to solve the puzzle without using the Modular lines rule - not sure if this is intended or not. :)

I did not really understand the description of the Teal triangles. But I was able to resolve the puzzle without them. (Now that I've resolved it, I do understand the clue)

Very nice interaction between elements. Thank you!

>>>NSM here - I was so glad to find that the interactions were still solid even when I removed the given digits. Thanks for the solve!
