- Divide the grid into nine orthogonally connected regions, each containing the digits 1-9, so there are no repeats in any row, column, or region.
- Along a green line, each pair of adjacent digits:
- In the same region must be consecutive;
- In different regions must have a difference of 5 or more.
- Digits in a cage do not repeat, and must sum to the indicated total.
- One region border has been given.

Awesome construction. I strongl y disagree with the difficulty. From my solve time, this is a 4* puzzle. Maybe I did not see the obvious. But if any solver has a hard time: keep thinking. This is a great puzzle.

What an excellent chaos construction. While I love the variant, often it suffers from a brutal irregular sudoku finish. This one managed to load the most difficult steps up front when the enthusiasm is highest and unwind relatively painlessly.
Thank you for including solution check. Puzzles are much more fun when you can avoid a very long stroll incorrect tangent

Fun and very smooth puzzle!
Fairly simple and approachable, but some neat logic. A cool line ruleset that makes for some nice deductions.

I think 2 stars is reasonable since this chaos construction puzzle is on the easy side of the genre. I definitely enjoy the smooth solving path.

PERFECTION!
I registered just to comment on this one. Being new to these kinds of puzzles, it's rare to find a puzzle that's feasible, challenging and intriguing, all at the same time - without ever feeling tedious or redundant. This one had me hooked from the start, and the flow of it was just perfect.
I had to start from scratch 3 times, must've made a mistake the first 2 tries and couldn't make the regions fit. But I kept coming back. This is easily favourite puzzle so far. Amazing job!

Very nifty. Somehow I managed to deduce all the digits before completely finishing the painting. So I would have been able to fill in the solution code without getting home entirely. Maybe it was just me :D

Interesting rules with cool setting. It’s a tricky 2* for sure, no more difficult deductions than 2* but they’re hard to spot with the way the constraints intersect. Thanks for the puzzle :)

Took me about 48 minutes to solve, which says more about my inexperience than anything else. Very neat stuff, and bravo for being able to hold my attention for that long.
