Renban or Ren_an (Ambiguity Puzzle)
(Published yesterday, 03:41 by tallcat)
A few months back, I took part in a SudokuCon twitch stream with Palfly Kampling where I solved a puzzle of his with a renban variant (called "Knapp Danenban lines"). The idea of a renban/knapp danenban line ambiguity puzzle came up in the stream - and it was something I decided to make. It was more challenging than I had first thought it would be! Happy solving!
Normal Sudoku rules apply
Pink lines are either renban or knapp danenban renban (KDR). The solver must deduce which are which.
Renban: Pink lines must contain a set of consecutive, non-repeating digits in any order.
Knapp Danenban Renban (KDR): Lines are almost renbans and contain a set of non-repeating consecutive digits in any order except one digit (not an extreme digit) is missing. Example: 1523, 467, and 7634 are valid but 1431, 1265, and 5243 are not valid.

Very nice. Appeared pretty much impossible from reading the rules, but turned out to be fairly approachable after a not so easy start.
