After almost four years of publishing to the portal and more than fifty puzzles, I am finally publishing a non-sudoku!
This puzzle was created for Agent's puzzle championship, and draws inspiration from Agent's Cave / Directionless Yajilin Permaculture. The prompt was to create a puzzle using knapp daneben (off-by-one) clues. This is what I created! I hope you enjoy it :)
RULES:
Permaculture: Divide the grid into two orthogonally connected regions. One region is a standard yajilin. The other region is a knapp daneben yajilin.
Yajilin: Blacken some cells and draw an orthogonal loop through all other cells in the yajilin region. Numbers with an arrow indicate the number of blackened cells which can be seen in the direction indicated. Region borders block vision.
Knapp Daneben Yajilin: Blacken some cells and draw an orthogonal loop through all other cells in the knapp daneben yajilin region. Numbers with an arrow indicate one more or one less than the number of blackened cells which can be seen in the direction indicated. Region borders block vision.
No black cells may touch orthogonally, even if separated by a region border.

Happy solving! Please leave a comment if you enjoyed this one, and check out some of my other puzzles!
Solution code: Column 9 from top to bottom, with I for straight lines, L for corners, S for shaded cells, and / for region borders.

Beautiful puzzle. Took a little to get used to the rules, but once I did it was a very smooth solve with lots of neat logic in it.
