The Tortoise and the Hare

Rules
Normal sudoku rules apply.
The tortoise wants to race again, but the hare has had enough! Losing so many time made the lagomorph mad, time to end it once and for all.
Draw a one-cell-wide path of orthogonally connected cells from the hare to the tortoise. The path may not touch itself, not even diagonally.
The hare has to collect all weapons scattered across the grid.
Box borders divide the path into segments with the same sum.
Each weapon contains a different digit. Additionally, this digit must be consecutive with the next digit on the path.

Dear hare, there must be a better way. What about a path to a quiet farm instead (which may be just as nice and challenging as this one)? Or just try saying „no“ for a change, you can still remain friends…
