Very neat puzzle, though I don't know about the intended clever break-in. I just colored it then drew a line in MS Paint through consecutive colors, it's trivial after that

RailMan: Thanks for solving it. It is designed to be fairly easy. There is a hidden geometry trick in the puzzle but you can solve it in many different ways without needing it.
