Rules:
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Ambiguous Elevator Arrows:
The grid contains arrows with invisible tails.
The digits on the tail of an arrow sum to the digit in the bulb.
Each thin circle is the bulb of an arrow which goes straight up OR straight down.
Each thick circle is the bulb of an arrow which goes straight up AND straight down.
Not all potential bulbs are necessarily given.
No Sideways Elevators:
It is impossible to draw any straight horizontal arrows anywhere in the grid.
Example:
In this sample grid snippet, the ambiguous elevator arrows have their conditions met. (I added the arrow symbols so this is easier to see.) However, the grid is NOT valid because rows 1 and 5 each create a spot where a horizontal arrow could be drawn (5+2=7 and 7=1+6).
