Once in a Blue Moon

(Published on 12. August 2025, 10:38 by sujoyku)

Just another Region Sum Lines sudoku. I like to thank all testers and wish you joyful solving!

Rules:

- Normal sudoku rules apply, i.e. each row, column, and 3x3 region has to contain the digits from 1 to 9 once each.

- Region Sum Lines: Box borders divide the blue lines into segments with the same sum. (Different lines may have different sums.)

Here you can solve the puzzle online:

Very nice puzzle! I shaded some cells orange, not because I needed to, but you can't have a Blue Moon without an orange!

**
Thank you for your fun comment, Calvinball! I am glad you enjoyed the Blue Moon with the orange. :)

"Can I offer you a nice RSL in this trying time?"
Why thank you, don't mind if I do.

**
Thank you for your comment, ViKingPrime! I don't really know what to say. Am I missing a reference about the title? I even listened to a Country song, but still did not find out. :)

Another stellar puzzle, well done! 3 star all the way for me. 89 was fun, but the 67 broke it for me.

Cute pure RSL puzzle! I think it's high 1* at most.

**
Thank you for your comment, antiknight! I am glad that you liked the puzzle. Of course, difficulty is always subjective. I still think it is harder than 1 star, but it probably depends on how quickly you spot certain steps. Thank you for sharing your perspective!
