RULES:
Sudoku: Normal sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1 to 9 once each in every row, column, and 3x3 box.
Duality:
Each clue outside the grid is both a full rank clue and an up-to-N sum clue. Stars denote any number and question mark clues denote one-digit numbers.
Full Rank:
The nine-digit numbers attained by reading from each edge of the grid, starting at the clue, are ranked according to size, from smallest (1) to largest (36).
Up-to-N Sum:
Clues outside the grid also indicate the sum of the digits up to, but not including, N, where N is the row/column number of the clue.
Inequality: The inequality sign in the grid points to the smaller digit.
