This puzzle was inspired by bellal's A tilt at full rank and The Book Wyrm's Full Full Rank Rank.
- Doppelgänger Sudoku:
- Every row, column, and box contains the digit 0 and eight out of the nine digits from 1 to 9 (i.e. it's missing one digit that is not 0)
- No two row, no two column, and no two box may be missing the same digit.
- For each 0 in the grid, the digits missing in its row, its column, and its box must be three different digits.
- Embedded Full Rank:
- The rows and columns of the central 5x5 area make a total of 20 five-digit numbers.
- Numbers in pills around the 5x5 area (read left to right or top to bottom) show the rank in ascending order among those 20 numbers for the column or row indicated by the tag, where the lowest number has rank 01 and the highest number has rank 20.
- Both ranks and 5-digit numbers may have leading zeroes.
- There are no ties in rank.
- Digits joined by a black dot are in a 1:2 ratio.

Fun puzzle, some neat logic and very fun.
Pretty simple as well, definitely not 5* imo.

I was relieved that the FR part could be mostly sorted out before thinking about the Doppelganger - this being the first of those I've solved! Very nice!

Thank you for including the note-taking spaces, and creating the conflict cages — it’s incredibly helpful for keeping track of everything going on, especially as the clues gain complexity!
