- Normal Sudoku rules apply
- All red lines are parity lines, i.e. adjacent digits on a line differ in odd/even parity
- On X shaped lines, the digits sum to a multiple of 10. On V shaped lines, the digits sum to a multiple of 5
- The sum of the digits is different for all lines
- Digits separated by a small X sum to 10. Digits separated by a small V sum to 5. Not all X's and V's are given
