Diagonal Sandwich
Inspiration for this type comes from EPH.
Solve online in Sudokupad.
Apply classic sudoku rules.
Clues outside the grid indicate the sum of the digits placed between the first seen 1 and the first seen 9 in the corresponding direction. Digits may be repeated in sums.

Had a few false starts, but once I managed to catch myself from treating these like usual sandwiches, it went pretty quickly. Fun!
