I recently took part in Isamooks Imposter challenge where I had to impersonate Dumediat i had fun solving some of his puzzles - and got terrified by others! I decided to try something I've never done before -but he had a few times and create a psycho look and say! The following is the result - I hope you enjoy!!!

    Variants used
  • Psycho look and say
  • Black Kropki
  • German Whispers

Very fun puzzle, thanks for sharing!

For me "Digits placed in cages do not count towards the look-and-say total" means that the referred cells can never exist in any cages (unless self-referencing), which turned out to not be the intended interpretation.

Very smooth solve path. Really good use of the psycho cages both for themselves and the fairly minimal external cluing.

The white dots inside the cages made me think of numbered room deductions.

Thanks so much - glad you enjoyed!

I haven't encountered Psycho look and say. Can you please explain that rule?

Edit: After a quick search I found it. Still, it would be cool to have it here too.

Thanks, great puzzle.

Sorry about that! I tried to keep the LMD page fairly basic - but it is explained in the puzzles rules! Thanks for solving :)

Nice puzzle. I'm probably wrong but I don't think the 18 cage was needed.

Thanks for the solve - you're probably right, but I'll often put something in to smooth the solve path!
