Doppelgangland (Double Arrow Doublers)
(Published on 8. September 2025, 00:00 by tallcat)
I've only used Doublers once before in
"Topsy Turvy"(which was a collaboration with zetamath). This puzzle started out as something completely different before accidentally turning into a sequel to
"Doppelt" - my first double arrow puzzle from four years ago. Happy solving!
Normal Sudoku rules apply
Double Arrows: The lines and circles are double arrows. The sum of the digits on the line must equal the sum of the digits in its end circles. Digits may repeat on double arrows (lines and circles) if allowed by other rules.Example: If two circles containing 5 and 7 are connected by a 3-cell line, the line might contain the digits 2, 4, and 6.
Doublers: There are 9 doublers in the grid (one in each row, column, and box). Digits on doublers count as double their value and each digit from 1 to 9 appears on a doubler exactly once.
Can be played online at
Sudokupad
Solution code: Column 4, top to bottom (9 digits, no spaces)

Blissful when the symmetry bug bites a puzzle and turns it into a masterpiece.
