Chaos construction rules: Fill the grid with nine orthogonally connected regions of nine cells. The border between R5C1 and R6C1, and between R1C2 and R1C3 has been given to help you start or finish constructing.

Sudoku Rules: Place the digits 0-8 in each row, column, and region.

Limitations Bonus Rules: Each clue type (rules 1-9 below) only appears in a single region. Each region includes only one clue type.

1. Digits in a cage sum to the number given.

2. Digits on an arrow sum to the number in the attached circle.

3. Digits on a thermometer increase from the bulb to the tip.

4. Adjacent digits on a green German Whisper line have a difference of five or more./p>

5. Digits on a purple Renban line are a set of consecutive numbers in any order.

6. Black dots connect cells in a 2:1 ratio (0 is not allowed on a black dot).

7. White dots connect consecutive digits./p>

8. Cells connected by an X sum to 10.

9. Cells connected by a V sum to 5.

The grid is partially covered in fog. Placing correct digits may clear fog somewhere in the grid.

Solution code: Column 2, ten digits. The number of regions then the nine digits in the column top to bottom.

definitely for experts only. if you ask exactly the right questions early on, the setter miserly hands over the minimal clues that allow progress.

incidentally, the renban isn't needed, because by the time i got there, it was redundant.
