Hi Peter,

For sure. Let's look at the line starting in row 1 column 2 (r1c2) and ending in r5c8. For the sake of an example, assume it has the difference of 3 and the second digit (r2c3) is a 4. The digits next to the 4 on the line (r1c2 and r2c4) would then have to be 3 different from 4, i.e. 1 or 7. It's the solver's task to determine which difference each line has (and obviously which digits go in the cells).
