Rules:
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Adjacent digits along a line must have a difference of at least 5.
A stick always has a lower total (the sum of its digits) than any stick which lies on top of it.

Another beautiful construction. German whispers and stick rules work nicely together. After having done a lot of Marty‘s puzzles, I saw the break-in immediately. Thanks!

The easiest of the series, you're cruising along thinking I'll solve this in under 10 minutes! Then you get to a delightfully satisfying thorny bit just at the end to make you work for it, and it's lovely how it comes together

This one feels easier than usual. Not sure if I'm more familiar with German Whispers, or if I'm just getting better at this series, or what. Certainly no less fun though!
Marty: I think this was always going to be an easier one. German Whispers are a very powerful constraint, especially coupled with the stick rule

You know? Even if you didn't list the author or the title, I think we'd all still know who set this... up to your old tricks with this one. The German Whisper lines work incredibly well this rule set. Beautifully constructed.
