PUZZLE:
RULES:
eXtreme SUDOKU rules apply!
(like normal Sudoku rules but cooler; i.e. fill the grid with the digits 1-9 so that digits don't repeat in a row, column or marked 3x3 box but do so in the service of rock-and-roll).
Digits along a ROCK-OMETER! must strictly increase from bulb to tip
(note: the green guitar pick in Row 1 is also considered a Rock-ometer!).
In the grid, there is a TENACIOUS digit 'D' — to be determined by the solver — that must appear on every Rock-ometer!
Digits along each DIAGONAL must not repeat.

This isn't the best puzzle in the world, this is just a tribute.

I often think this specific kind of theming around puzzles is contrived and kind of dumb but I absolutely cannot complain about a Tenacious D sudoku.
I would never have thought in a million years these two things would come even remotely near each other

Very fun puzzle. However, the solution code seems needlessly vague. Just type in the "D" digit 9 times.
