Cipher Sushoku
My gratitude to Michael Lefkowitz aka Juggler for inventing the Sushoku genre and for testing and making suggestions for improving this puzzle!
Rules:
- Each of the (included) letters from T-Z represent one of the digits from 1-9, you must determine which.
- Each of the letters from A-H represents a mathematical operator (=, "less than", "greater than", +, -, *, /, or "blank"), you must determine which.
- Each row and column is an equation (or inequality), read from left to right or top to bottom. Cells with a blank between them represent 2-digit numbers.
- NOTE: For the solution check, you must use the "Big" letters to complete rows 5 and 6 in addition to using numbers in Rows 1-4.
I hope you enjoy it!
Solution code: Solve this equation (2-digit number): UDTFWDYHZE

deductions are nice and not that hard. (2-3*?)
Thanks for sharing.
- bjf: Glad you enjoyed it! I agree, I had bumped up the difficulty more so because of the type of puzzle rather than the actual deductions required, but I'm happy to bring it down a step.
