Iceberg Lettuce

This week in Britain it has been inexcusably hot. So hot in fact that I have been driven to do something I would never ordinarily consider: eating iceberg lettuce.
Midway through consuming one of these offensively bland vegetables I found myself considering the rather interesting patterns within it, and this sudoku is the result.
Nothing particularly complicated here. As I may have mentioned, it’s too hot for that.
RECIPE:
Normal sudoku rules apply: fill the grid with digits 1-9 so that none repeat within a row, column or box.
German Whispers (medium thickness green lines): any two adjacent digits on a German Whispers line have a difference of 5 or more.
PALINDROME (thin grey lines): Digits along a palindrome line must read the same forwards and backwards. For example, ‘1234321’ and ‘123321’ are valid palindrome lines, but ‘123451’ is not.
THERMO: Digits along a thermometer must increase from the bulb to the tip.

Very refreshing indeed! I just had trouble with the coloring because my brain was fried with the heat here in the States!
