My first and probably last fog puzzle. Enjoy! Be kind to each other!
Normal Sudoku rules apply. The grid is covered in fog. Placing correct digits may or may not lift the fog from certain cells. No guessing is required.
Numbered Rooms: Digits outside the grid indicate the digit contained in the cell X steps away from the clue, where X is the digit in the first seen cell.
Quadruples: The four clued values inside a circle must appear in the cells surrounding that circle. The clues are written in ascending order.
Examples of an ascending sequences:
14 | . | . | 24 | . | . | 36 | . | . | 55 |
77 | . | . | 48 | . | . | 79 | . | . | 88 |
A grey circle indicates an odd digit.
The puzzle:
Play in SudokuPad.
Solution code: Column 2, please (9 digits).

Ganz tolles FoW-Puzzle! Für mich war’s 3* schwer. Allerdings haben meine alten Augen auch immer Schwierigkeiten, die kleinen blauen Pencilmarks im grauen Nebel zu erkennen… Vielen Dank für diese knifflige Konstruktion.

"aufsteigender/ascending" is an incorrect term.
correct is "nicht fallender" or "non-descending"
of course, the given examples set the record straight, and it's a fine, smoothly-solving puzzle.

I agree that your chosen terms are less ambiguous, but I find them ugly... so I chose to remove the ambiguity by providing examples. Thanks for solving and for your helpful feedback!

I was really surprised at how few times the fog cleared around spaces I didn't already figure out. Very interesting use of dynamic fog! And the grey circles were more helpful than I thought they'd be when I first saw them.
Very fun puzzle!

You say that clues in the quadruples are written in ascending order. But am I correct to assume that a ? can represent a digit out of order?

There is no reason to think that. I've added some examples.
