(Published on 20. June 2025, 05:30 by NicoD)

Turbid harbinger by Nicolas Duhail.

Rules
Normal sudoku rules apply.
The grid is covered in fog. Correctly placed digits will clear the fog around that cell. No guessing is required.
Each line has a distinct color. Lines do not branch or cross and only move orthogonally.
Box borders divide each line into segments with the same sum.

The initial placement of visible lines was excellent and led to some nice logic about how the paths could be fit into the grid while respecting the RSL constraint.

An excellent puzzle, thanks for creating it. I found it very difficult to make progress at times, but when you get that little logical breakthrough, it’s so rewarding.

Very cool geometry! Some really tricky (for me) math steps in the middle, but it was fun/satisfying to unravel

I won't admit how long this took me, but when some fog cleared and I discovered my deductions about the lines had been correct were some great moments. Thanks for such a good puzzle.
-----
ND: Congrats on solving it, it is not an easy puzzle for sure!
