Rules:

  • Normal sudoku rules apply.
  • Up to N Clues: A clue outside the grid in row N or column N indicates the sum or the product of all digits between the clue (grid border) and the digit N in the corresponding row or column. The digit N is NOT included in the sum or the product.
  • Sum/Product Cages: Digits in a cage will either sum, or multiply to the total indicated in the top left corner. N represents the same value, to be determined by the solver, in both cages.
  • Paired Up: For each pair of clues (paired clues have the same symbol or cage value), one will be a sum clue, and the other will be a product clue.

All feedback (positive or critical) appreciated!

Solution code: Row 8, left to right (9 digits)

Loved the puzzle! Beautiful deductions. Nowhere close to 4 star in my opinion, more like 2. The break in and solve path seem pretty straightforward.

Took me "only" just over 3 hours to solve, it's 7:30 am here and I have to work at 10:30, but I couldn't stop, I had to finish it! Always a pleasure solving ChinStrap's Sudokus and this one collab with MSDOS made it even more enjoyable! And now good "night" for 2 hours

Wonderful mind-bending puzzle! This was a tough nut to crack and such an original construction. I love how the paired clues led to completely fresh logic. Thank you, ChinStrap and MSDOS!
